It’s been a busy month since we launched our Video Membership Site! The best part of launching this site (other than taste-testing all the recipes) was reconnecting with so many of you: almost everyone who has joined the program had been to several of our cooking classes at our NYC school, celebrated a special occasion with us at the school, or traveled with us in Italy on a cooking tour. Especially now that we are all in our own pods, this feeling of connection has been very meaningful, and has brought us some much-needed joy and sense of community. So—thank you. Truly. We hope that you’ve started to explore the site. If you haven’t spent much time perusing the recipes and articles yet, we suggest you begin by reading the section called Your Video Membership: it will help you reap the most benefits from the site, as it contains a lot of useful tips about navigating the site, bookmarking favorite lessons, contacting us, and much more. It’s sort of a how-to for getting the most out of the site.

New Recipes & eBook
In the last few weeks, we’ve uploaded almost a dozen new video recipes. Check out the Newly Added section under Your Video Membership to see what’s been recently uploaded (a Roasted Mushroom, Sage, and Cheese Frittata for easy Sunday brunches, a comforting Red Wine Soup with Caramelized Onions and Cheese Crostoni, my mom’s Roasted Fennel with Parmigiano, to name a few).
We've added a whole section about kitchen basics - with videos on topics such as using a scale, knife skills (mincing garlic, onions, cubing zucchini), and more. We’re developing many more delicious recipes for the holiday season, including a line-up of our favorite crostini, new ways to use Mascarpone, a heavenly cannoli cheesecake, and a series on cooking with beets from bulb to leaves; look for these in the coming weeks. We’ve also added a new eBook, Essential Kitchen Tools, our guide to choosing useful, quality kitchen equipment (think chef’s knives, baking stones, food processors, pans, and the like). You’ll find it under My eBooks on the site.

Recipe Suggestions Welcome!
We welcome your ideas on recipes you’d like to see featured; please do drop us a line using the Messaging function on the site. We already took member Erika K.’s suggestion and added Tiramisu! If you try a recipe from the site, take a photo and email it to us: we’d love to see what you’ve been up to in your kitchen! This month, with the holidays coming up, we’re offering members the option to buy a single one-year video membership for half the regular price: just $60 per membership.
